Happy International Women’s Day to all our wonderful Divas! 8th March is globally recognized as the day to celebrate women. It is a day dedicated to acknowledging and honouring the contribution of women to society. Over the years women have taken major strides and have proven themselves to be successful across different spheres of life. Women are capable of creating change and shaping futures.

What comes to mind when you hear the word ‘woman’; gentle, caring, selfless, loving sensitive, persistent, multitasking. A woman has the courage to develop, nurture and transform. A woman has the power to encourage, sacrifice and give hope. We often hear the phrase “Empower a woman you empower a nation”, indeed this is true as a woman is half the society and the base on which the world stands. As Alphonse de Lamartine rightly said: “There is a woman at the beginning of all great things”.

The value of a woman cannot be underestimated. We have all been positively impacted by a woman in one way or another. We have all watched and learnt from our own mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, that being a woman means being strong, confident, bold and beautiful.
This month we encourage all the beautiful and talented Divas to step out and shine. To support and believe in each other, and work towards our goals. The world is in need of strong, confident women who are not afraid of change. Women who will lift and develop others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. We salute those women who have made a major impact on our lives. We salute those women who struggled to express their right for speech, equality, education and freedom. May the beauty of every woman eternally shine.
